"Chalet Alpage ...........Tranquil and cosy in the beautifully traditional hamlet of La Combe with its fountains of mountain water and museum!
Wonderful Chalet, fantastic holiday. Thank you Shelly and Mat!" - The Shaw Family |
"Our stay at Chalet Alpage over Xmas and New Year was great! It is a great base to discover the Three Valleys and within easy access to all the resorts on one side of the valley, Saint Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens which links you to various other resorts including Meribel and the Corcheval region, an intense area ! We saw New Year in at Les Menuires with fireworks and apres ski drinking and retreated back to Chalet Alpage in the early hours! The Chalet was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities you would require home from home.
Shelly and Mat were very informative prior to our break and we would like to wish them all the best and hope they can spare us some room for another trip !!! Chalet Alpage is a hidden gem in a vast expanse of discovery!" - Ross Sampford

"I would very much recommend this chalet...It is in a great position with a fantastic view. The chalet was spacious, clean, extremely well equipped, and beautifully furnished with lots of character with all the exposed beams and
wooden floors.
The corresponding with Shelly beforehand was very efficient, and lots of information given prior to our arrival.
We had a great holiday, and would definitely like to return next year." - Susan George

"I stayed at Chalet Alpage not only to ski but to discover the area of the Savoie Region on an extended holiday. The chalet itself was warm, cosy and clean with traditional Savoie decor and a great base for the skiing region of the Three Valleys.
Chalet Alpage was all that I expected it to be from reading the website which was fully informative and gave a lot of information that I required prior to travel, as did Shelly! The Chalet is also a short distance from many areas of interest surrounding the Three Valley area including Annecy, Mont Blanc and Switzerland, all of which were great places to experience and easily commuteable from the Chalet. I had a fantastic experience and I am already looking forward to my next visit!" - Gillian Monnickendam

"Chalet Alpage was lovely, homely, welcoming and spacious and has been decorated beautifully. The hamlet was quiet and magical which made our stay a memorable one! The ski resort of Saint Martin was fantastic and friendly and linked our skiing to the whole of the three Valleys area. We could not have asked for more and we can't wait to come back."

"Our stay at Chalet Alpage was a memorable one. It is in a quaint hamlet, tucked away from the crowds which makes it a magical place and the locals were very warming.
The short journey to Saint Martin gave us an open gate to the whole of the 3 Valley area which we are looking forward to discovering further on our return.
The chalet itself was full of charm and comfort and a total chill out for apres ski! It was clean and had all the facilities you would expect of an alpine chalet. We would definitely recommend this chalet and hope to return next season! Shelly and Mat, thank you!" - Becky and Rob Beardsell

"We're now back from France and thoroughly enjoyed our week at Chalet Alpage. It is in a really beautiful place and the skiing was great. Thank you for the wine and other things you left us. We all agreed that the house was lovely and warm and the beds were really comfortable. Anyway, thanks very much again and maybe we'll be able to go back there one day."

"The chalet was superb - both Stuart and I said what a fantastic use of space and we loved the upstairs bedroom. We all spent a fantastic week in Chalet Alpage and would thoroughly recommend it to friends - we will be thinking of booking soon for next year and will certainly consider the chalet again. It is ideally located for the 3 valleys and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the entire ski area to retire suitably exhausted to the comfort of the chalet and relax with a glass or two of wine!" - Rachel Banning - February 2009
